Sometimes you are instructed to light something that special that the sheer scale of it and the features involved mean that although it is external it has all the features/opportunities and interest of something internal and as a result should be lit as such!

This was an exciting, interesting project that was to be zoned and dimmed to give moods for different events and seasons as it was used all year around with an outdoor pool kept at 30 degrees, so the pool is used on winter evenings as well, when it is dark at 4pm.
